CANES FOR HEROES (CFH)

What began as a hobby has now become Tim Alex's mission to provide free canes and walking sticks to wounded warriors who have served our wonderful country so well. It is his way to use his woodworking talent, to give back and say THANK YOU to those who sacrificed so much for so many!

CFH has donated over 1500+ canes and walking sticks at no charge to Veterans throughout the country! These numbers continue to grow either through Wounded Warrior projects, Veteran Hospitals and Clinics in SC, TX, VA and GA. Canes have also been given to Veterans met in stores, restaurants, parking lots or as simply through word of mouth. 

It is extremely gratifying to recieve the many calls, emails, letters and personal contacts from these Veterans, and from their wives, parents and friends who express the pride and continuous joy that the canes have brought to their lives. This within itself brings such gratification to continue this mission.
